  13. POCO A POCO (little by little, music term) was written for Sound
  14. Blaster music card and for standard PC speaker. It also works
  15. with Sound Blaster adaptable music cards (e.g., PORT*ABLE
  16. Sound Plus for IBM PC compatible laptops thanks to program
  17. BlasterMaster, Copyright by Digispeech, Inc., 1993, Palo Alto).

  19. To create this program, Sound Blaster Card Library functions were
  20. used. Sound Blaster Card Library, Copyright by Creative Labs, Inc.
  21. 1991.

  23. POCO A POCO assists user in a comprehension of music education
  24. values through the functions of Start Up screen and Main Meniu.

  26.   *** SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS ***

  28. Version 1.0 allows:
  29.                   - to listen polyphony melody
  30.                   - to control tempo of the performance with keys

  32.                   - to transpoze the melody if it is too high or
  33.                     too low for your voice
  34.                   - to change timbres for voices 1,2,3 with keys
  35.                                                          F1,F2,F3
  36.                   - to count rhythm with keys z, x, c, v, b, n, m
  37.                   - to read Manual On-Line
  38.                   - to choose sound environment to perform above
  39.                     functions (with Sound Blaster whenever you
  40.                     install it or without Sound Blaster Card)
  41.                   - to choose one of the following modes from the
  42.                     Main Meniu:

  44.                    (1) Choose melody you wish to work on
  45.                    (2) Memorize the melody in mode with support
  46.                      on screen
  47.                    (3) Test your memory in mode without support
  48.                      on screen and earn real money toward Song
  49.                      Collections or other SKYMUS products
  50.                    (4) Play in direct (piano) mode or in accompa-
  51.                      niment mode
  52.                    (5) Exit

  54. Press ESC in Start Up screen and you are in Main Meniu. From here
  55. you may perform the above functions (1)-(5). The special feature
  56. of POCO A POCO is a unique memorizing algorithm which helps to
  57. develop internal memory skills while having fun in MEMORIZE, TEST
  58. and PLAY modes. Concentration developed through this memorizing
  59. algorithm will become valuable personal asset for user. Using
  60. modes CHOOSE, MEMORIZE, TEST, PLAY, EXIT are self-explanatory and
  61. doesn't require additional description.

  73.                            (II) try to sing voice 2
  74.                           (III) change timbre of voice 1 every

  76.                           (IV) perform various hands coordination
  77.                                exercises in rhythm

  80.                       organize mini competitions at home
